I recently found an old series that I enjoyed in my youth.
‘Diane Duane’s – So You Want to be a Wizard’
There were only about 9 volumes and they’re only about 200-250 pages each so I cruised through them pretty fast. It really scratched that itch that “The Magicians – Lev Grossman” didn’t really do for me. I was hoping to receive some more adult recommendations along the similar vein of finding something that teaches you magic ( ideally not a school setting but not a deal breaker), real world consequences to using to much magic, hard magic system something that has advanced theory would be awesome ( no HP wave your wand).
