Hey all,
I’m looking for something that reads like Ready Player One or The Circle.
Something that is distant dystopian future but still very believable that our life could become this. A bit Black Mirror-esqe in that it won’t happen but could.
Also I do enjoy the unpredictability of some of the characters, as you have entire plot lines filled in for them that connect them which end up being completely wrong. I feel like the circle did this well as you never knew who that random guy who just appeared sometimes was (no spoilers here)
The final thing I enjoyed is there was a plot of friendships and partnerships without making it THE ONLY plot line. I don’t want to read 150+ pages waiting for them to will they/won’t they. No one cares! There’s other aspects to our lives besides getting boned haha.
