Before anyone suggests A Little Life, I’ve already read it and did not cry. So because I want to feel something I’m turning to books (of course). I just need to prove to myself that I do in fact have some feelings left lol. For reference, a book that sort of made me feel something was Elena Knows, and The Girl With The Louding Voice.

    1. I haven’t read any of the books you mention, but my go-to for tears is the novella And every morning the way home gets longer and longer, by Fredrik Backman.

    2. I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman. The second part of the book especially is heart wrenching in a very unique way. I didn’t cry but that didn’t mean I didn’t stare blankly at the wall for ten minutes once I finished the book.
