Without giving the name of the book and spoiling it, I have just read a novel about a prehistoric super predator that survived mostly in hiding until modern days and wreaked havoc when it emerged. I very much like this idea. Anything loosely about this, I would be interested in.
In said book, there is also suggestions that this creature is Satan. Big bonus points if you can suggest a book that also has this theme, or even a vague spiritual theme of good and evil – or something supernatural.
I am also *very* interested in the uncanny valley phenomenon – when humans become very uncomfortable when we view something meant to look human, or similar to a human but it is *not*. There are fun theories that claim perhaps this is due to some super predator in our past that could mimic our appearance, or even was a rival related species.
