Hello,
My favorite short story is “black smiths boy heal and toe” by Edward O’ Brian which is an old story about two farriers in a horse shoe making competition. I also like stories such about John Henry, Paul Bunyan, or “The Finest Hours”. Does anyone have any other recommendations for similar stories of hard working Americans, or of American hero’s? Perhaps you personally know someone who’s has a great story such as your parents, or grand parents, or neighbors. If your have a recommendation or know someone with a great story I would love to hear it.
