I used to be a huge little nerd back in elementary. I was in the
highest level reading group and read advanced books for my age, but I
quickly fell off as soon as I got to middle school. Its been years
since I’ve read and I want to get back into it. Technically I have
been reading, but only fanfictions. My absolute favorite things about
fanfiction is that you get to dig deep with the characters’
personalities/motives and you see the characters form strong
relationships. I need help finding a book like that, no surface level
stuff. I’d also like something interesting and fantastical and that
makes you think. Young adult to adult novels preferred. For example, I
heard of “I have no mouth and I cannot scream” and it has interested
me. I read flowers for algernon and also enjoyed it.
