I haven’t read any Christopher Moore books yet, but I just bought The Stupidest Angel and I’m excited to dig into it!
However, I’m home for the holidays, and I was considering reading a book with my younger siblings (12M, 13F) — would this book be too inappropriate for them?
They’re reasonably mature for their ages, and I know they’ve been exposed to plenty of weird/deplorable stuff already thanks to the internet (not ideal, but that’s the reality of raising kids these days). I’d say I’m primarily worried about a book having graphic depictions of sex, or something truly mean-spirited and awful, if I’m reading with them.
What do you all think? Would this book be okay, or should I save this one for myself and read a different book with them?
P.S. I also bought Lamb by Christopher Moore. I suppose my same questions apply for that book too. Thanks!
