Some of us are big readers, others are not. It’s just a fun casual book club and we’re not looking for anything too heavy or dense. Looking for a few palatable suggestions that all 10 of us can get on board with – can be any genre! Thanks!

**The Talented Mr. Ripley, by Patricia Highsmith** is a fun, palatable read and relatively short to boot (288 pages). If everyone is alright with some queer elements, **The Vesuvius Club, by Mark Gatiss** is a delightful (also short) romp – a sort of satirical James Bond.

**The Little Old Lady Who Broke All The Rules, by Catharina Ingelman-Sundberg** is perhaps on the blander side, but is therefore likely to be unobjectionable to a group of ten.

Finally, I’d like to suggest **Picnic At Hanging Rock, by Joan Lindsey**. It’s the shortest of the lot at 189 pages, and although more fascinating than ‘fun’ I imagine you could get some decent mileage out of it for a light book club read!
