Hi all! I work an 8-5 where I have a lot of free time. I like to try to fill it up with audiobooks but feel like I’ve gotten picky and need suggestions. I really have been enjoying memoirs/and realistic fiction novels. I’ve read and enjoyed: A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Educated by Tara Westover, Crying in H-Mart. I have “Just Kids” on my TBR. I’ve also read I’m Glad My Mom Died, but I’m not sure if I want something that sad during work (I also felt like a lot of her eating disorder stuff should’ve been censored/trigger warned because woof I struggled with it.) If anyone has any recommendations of good audiobooks that are memoirs or realistic fiction, I’d love to hear! Also could be interested in general nonfiction depending on how it’s written haha.
