I didn’t read it, but maybe you would like “Interview with the vampire”

Salems Lot by Stephen King.

The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, especially the first three: *Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat*, and *The Queen of the Damned*
The Southern Vampire Mysteries by Charlaine Harris, which are like vampire dark-rom-com murder mysteries set in rural Louisiana (loosely adapted into HBO’s True Blood). They’re really fun
*Sunshine* by Robin McKinley (interesting take, not my favorite but still a good read)
*Dracula* by Bram Stoker (classic Gothic horror)
*The Passage* by Justin Cronin (not traditional vampires, more like vampire-zombie hybrids)
