Hi, thanks to everyone in this community for their continued suggestions!
I have just finished reading Empire of Pain, The secret history of the Sackler dynasty and absolutely loved it.
I’ve also enjoyed the following types of books:
Books on economics such as:
– Freakonmics (absolutely loved this)
– Talking to my daughter by Yanis Varoufakis
Thrillers like such as:
– The Key Man
– Empire of Pain
Autobiographies such as:
– Musk, Jobs, Da Vinci by Isaacson
General non fiction such as:
– Malcolm Gladwell’s full collection (My favourite author)
– Gang leader for the day
– Cal Newports books
– Sapiens
Books on finance such as:
– The deals of Warren Buffet (all volumes, really loved this)
– Barbarians at the Gate
– Ride of a lifetime – Bob Iger
Books on philosophy/psychology such as:
– Man’s search for meaning by Viktor Frankl (Loved this)
– The Courage to be disliked (also loved this)
– Thinking fast and slow
Any suggestions on any books similar to the above would be appreciated. I feel the books above are books where I come out feeling I’ve learnt something but at the same time don’t feel like a textbook.
Thank you!
