I like reading non-fiction books (especially ones that are psychology or self-help related like “Atomic habits” and such) but I’ve come to a point where I simply don’t feel like trudging through them, especially knowing how authors are instructed by publishers to repeat themselves in order to reach a certain number of pages.
Are book summaries (on youtube for example) sufficient to acquire the most important infomation from said books or would you say it’s necessary to read the entire book ?
