Hello, I’m looking for a 18/19th century romance novel (enemies to lovers or rivals to lovers) where the main characters are doctors or some kind of workers in a very competitive field. The one where in the beginning the male lead feels skeptical towards the female lead abilities but later see her talent .
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed classic works such as “Pride and Prejudice” and “Jane Eyre” , as well as the TV series ” The Artful Dodger” which particularly inspired my current need.
I’m looking forward to you suggestions as I feel completely hopeless in my search for that specific book.
