Hi all. I’m looking to get my brother a few books for Christmas and I’m hoping to get some suggestions.
A little about him – he’s 23 years old and was recently laid off from the first job he got out of college. He studied to be a mechanical engineer and is a techy guy, plays a lot of video games, codes, etc. Currently he’s traveling the country in his car mainly camping and staying in some airbnbs trying to figure out what he wants to do next in his life. He’s entrepreneurial with dreams of starting his own company.
One thing to know, he is on the spectrum and struggles relating to others socially. He’s the smartest person I know and I have no doubts that he will be successful in whatever professional direction he takes, I worry about his social life both with friendships and relationships that he will find happiness.
I’m hoping for some suggestions of good ‘coming-of-age’ books for a young man that could provide him with some insight into life while he travels. He reads a good amount but almost exclusively business centered books (rich dad, poor dad etc.).
Open to any suggestions, thanks for taking the time to consider this!
