Does anyone have any book recs where the main character has to hide his identity and/or learns about it. And this identity is crucial to the plot and may change how his companions see him. This identity can be villainous/powerful/royalty.
Books like >!Dark Rise/Heir !<where the MC realizes he was the one they’ve been wanting to defeat all along, kind of like a hero realizing he’s a villain. As long as it has good plot/writing, I don’t mind any genre though I prefer fantasy/superpower elements. :))
