I enjoyed The Master and Margherita and was intrigued to read it because the book had a giant talking cat.
In another post, I found myself interested in The Last House on Needless Street because apparently there are cat-based POVs in it.
I am obsessed with cats. I talk about my two cats like they are my children. I enjoy other people who love cats. So please, help me expand my cat-based reading list!
For my taste:
I am a Wheel of Time re-reader.
Loved the Area X Trilogy and sense of existential dread. I like weird lit, including Junji Ito (I have his cat manga!) and The Woman in the Dunes.
I didn’t like A Prayer for Owen Meanie and DNF’d.
I’m not into torture, gore, or really scary content. Maybe you’re like “huh?” because I said I like Junji Ito – I guess I don’t like ugly malevolent violence or torture for the sake of torture.
I enjoy scifi and fantasy, but am open to a range of genres.
