For example, “Game of Thrones.”I started reading the book a month ago, and I’ve been ignoring it for a while because:

    1. I know most of the scenes.
    2. I know what will happen next.

    But there is a catch:

    1. There ARE many scenes where the show misses out, and most scenes are better in the book than in the show. Examples include the time Barristan Selmy was cast out from his Kingsguard duty, the conversation between Tyrion and Jon on the way to the Night’s Watch, and the first scene when we came to know about White Walkers.
    2. There are several potholes, such as >!Tyrion possibly being half Targaryen, Euron Greyjoy doing what Bran does, Brynden Rivers might be controlling everyone, and so on.!<

Yet, how can you start or have you started reading the books when you have already watched the live series?
