I’ve finished the first two books and I decided to look up reviews after falling in love with the series so far. If you’ve read the Quartet, you can imagine how dismayed I was seeing the very DIVISIVE way people talk about the ending. So I have two questions before I continue:
1) What is the vibe like in the second half of the Quartet? Many reviews say it felt like reading separate duologies. I would describe the first two books as an Adult Ghibli movie. How would you describe the vibe of the last two books?
2) Is it worth to invest my emotions into this even if the ending isn’t satisfying? Is the journey worth it even if the destination is disappointing?
