So I just want to clarify, by epic I’m not talking about a fantasy novel, it’s just a long historical fiction novel. The thing is I’ve done so much research and outlined so much, and I’m not even done outlining (btw my outline is 100 pages long and counting plus my journal full of research notes and an early part of my outline). So more than likely this book is going to be more than 100,000 words long.
I guess I want to know if you know any literary agents or publishing houses, particularly indie that would publish or help publish a novel this long for a first time author? Because I’m going to be a first time author so I’ve read that they don’t really want to publish a book that is over 100,000 words for a first time author.
Maybe I should worry about all of this when I’m done or close to done writing it, but I just need early resources and guidance I guess.
