I just finished reading ‘Demon Copperhead” by Barbara Kingsolver and it was absolutely AMAZING. I am speechless. For anyone that’s read the book I’d love to have a discussion about it in the comments, and for the one’s that haven’t read it then GO BUY THIS BOOK you will not regret it!

I cannot express or put into words just how amazing this book was to read. It was real. It was raw. It gave me a range of emotions. I stayed up late nights reading this, and lost sleep because I truly just couldn’t put it down. I’ve read MANY books (thousands) in my lifetime of 29 years and this is my all-time favorite #1 book. The author gave detailed descriptions of the characters to the point it feels like I know them personally. She described scenery to really give you the full picture and imagery of the different places.
Demon Copperhead was filled with many twists and turns right up until the very end. Barbara Kingsolver is brilliant!
This book shone a light of awareness on foster care, addiction, and even death. I honestly did not want this book to end and I am sad that it’s finished. Oftentimes I would read really slowly and towards the end I wouldn’t read unless I was in the my favorite reading spot with my candles flickering and crackling.
I will never stop recommending this book to every single person I know. It’s going to be very hard to find a book thats even close to how awesome this one was. I mean that with every part of my being.
