Need vacation book rec!
I’m on vacation and just tried Christian Moore’s Island of the Sequined Love Nun- and I didn’t like it because it read busy with lots of odd/humorous things happening but without enough interpersonal wit and dynamics. I love books by David Sedaris, Jenny Lawson, Ali Brosh, and Melissa Nathan. I’m looking for something to read along these lines, particularly something like Melissa Nathan. She has a similar humor to the other authors I listed, but she wrote novels instead. Any suggestions for books with insightful hilariously delivered inter- and intra-personal dynamics? I want to laugh out loud!
