Suggest me a book written by South Asian author

I really want to read some books (Fiction) written by south Asian authors with gripping stories something that I can’t put away and have to go through in one sitting. A book that keeps you hooked.

(If it’s by a woman even better and of Indian/Pakistani/Bengali origin but doesn’t have to be)
