I’ve recently gone down the rabbit hole of exploring different ideologies, as well as their economic circumstances, and have in particular looked at the Soviet Union. That said, I’m interested in a wide variety of topics, socialist thought, nationalist thought, market socialism, and late stage capitalism.
I’ve read Lenin’s state and revolution, the communist manifesto and Oswald Spengler’s Decline of the West. I’m also particularly interested in the fall of Rome, and if there’s any books comparing the uS of today to collapsing Rome
More specifically, any books on actual theory, or analysis of leaders such as Deng Xiaoping, or Stalin, Ataturk, Tito, Franco, and von Bismarck, and their ideological build would be fantastic.
