Recently watched the TV adaptation of Normal People, and to put it bluntly – I loved it. I’m never one for contemporary romance, but the cinematography, score, performances all made for a lovely TV show. I’ve avoided Rooney in the past, a lot of people think her work is overrated so ig I just became one of those people without actually giving her books a shot (dumb ik). If Normal People isn’t worth the read, is there a Rooney book that definitely is worth the read? I’ve been feeling so low recently, and so found Normal People comforting in the sense that I could see something similar to what I’m currently going through portrayed on screen – and I’d like to hold onto that comforted feeling.
