I just can’t get down to read grammar books. I get bored. Recently someone suggested Dreyer’s English. The audiobook is fine, covering punctuations, treatment of numbers, word spellings that are often confused, etc. Although it’s also confusing at times, short in explanation in some places and unnecessarily long in others. Anyhow, I started to search for similar audiobooks but couldn’t find any. Most were for people just learning the language. Any suggestions?

Just came on to suggest Dreyer’s English! For what it’s worth, I think this is a book that’s MUCH better in written format than audiobook, because then you’re free to jump around.

    2. I love the Glamor of Grammar by Roy Peter Clark. Each section is around 1-4 pages, engaging, and uses accessible examples.
