Like things specific to certain genres hat just annoy you.
My one is Historical Fiction where it’s inaccurate enough that even someone with limited knowledge of history can see that the details are wrong. Like in The Boy In The Striped Pajamas and the whole plot in general is riddled with inaccuracies that I, someone who isn’t super knowledgeable about history in general, could point out.
Like Bruno being relatively ignorant about literally everything, Shmuel being able to sit by the fence for so long and chat with Bruno, And the fact that Bruno could tunnel under the fence. These aren’t even all of them or the most egregious. I’m sure that people who are more knowledgeable about the time frame could have a longer list.
So stuff like this in historical fiction gets on my nerves.
