I’ve always been an avid reader, but during the pandemic when I didn’t leave the house much, I got kind of depressed, and I started watching more tv. I was still reading, but went from about 60 books a year to about 25. For some reason now I’m basically addicted to my phone, and haven’t read a whole book in a year. I’m trying to use my phone addiction to get back into reading by using Kindle Unlimited on the kindle app. I’m still struggling to get into the books I try. Any suggestions on books that grip you from the first page? I don’t like gore or detailed rape scenes, but other than that I’m pretty open about genre and content.
