I’ve just read two books, The Fut Hat by Vladimir Voinovich and The Finer Points of Sausage Dogs by Alexander McCall Smith. I enjoy that the main characters in both are driven at least in part by a petty desire for justice (or to remedy what they percieve as injustice). I like seeing this devolve or balloon out of proportion.
Are there any other books that feature characters like this or involve something like this as a main plot point?
