I’ve gotten into dedicated myself to reading one book from beginning to end over a couple days instead of just picking them up, starting them and then forgetting about them before doing it again a month or two later.
I’ve just finished one and I’m wondering which one to do with next. Here are the ones I have that I’m thinking of picking up:
•*Paper Towns* by John Green
•*Rebuilding Coventry* by Sue Townsend
•*Regeneration* by Pat Barker
•*The Epic of Gilgamesh* (author unknown)
•*Bomber* by Len Deighton
•*Jurassic Park* by Michael Crichton
•*Count Karlstein* by Phillip Pullman
•*The Scarecrow and his Servant* by Phillip Pullman
•*Moonraker* by Ian Fleming
•*Doctor Who: The Zygon Invasion* (novelisation) by Peter Harness
•*Doctor Who: The Fires of Pompeii* (novelisation) by James Moran
•*The Graveyard Book* by Neil Gaiman (reread)
•*Coraline* by Neil Gaiman (reread)
•*The Giver* by Lois Lowry (reread)
The ones I have finished since I started this reading habit are *The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy* by Douglas Adams and the *Doctor Who: Kerblam!* novelisation by Pete McTighe, which are both sci-fi but I’m open to other genres.
Also, I should note that I’m thinking of going to the library tomorrow so maybe something there will take my eye and also, I am open to suggestions outside of this list.
There are a couple rereads on here because they were books I read during secondary school because we had this thing where at last period we’d spend the first 10-20 minutes reading a book from home so that gave me dedicated time to read books, leading to me finishing some and since it feels like a lifetime has passed since then with covid, I’m thinking about revisiting them.
So please reply with your thoughts and what I should go for 🙂
