So, i had read the 1st book of the saga “A touch of darkness” and thought it reads like fan fiction. I wasn’t a fan, but i guess it was a quick and entertaining read. The 2nd book is better imo. I know it’s not a popular opinion. >!But with her best friend who has a car accident, and Persephone who’s faced with the dilemma of having to find different means to save her,!< i felt like the stakes were higher and it was a more engaging read.
I give it 3/5 stars, while i give the first one a 2.
I’m not super excited to read the 3rd one, but i think i’ll do it someday eventually since i’d like to know how the story ends.
