I’m about halfway through with Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Truman Capote, and despite how short it is I’m having trouble reading it. I’m not dumb and I read a lot, but for some reason I find myself stumbling like every other sentence. For some reason it’s frequently hard to grasp wtf he’s talking about.
It’s a well respected book – am I just an idiot? Do I need to read it 3 times to be comfortable with the writing? What am I missing?
