I love everything about The Forever War by Joe Haldeman – it’s got humour, sci-fi, a little bit of dystopian/future society. And I felt it was fairly fast-paced.
Anyone have suggestions for similar books? I’m trying to get through Forever Peace but it just ain’t gripping me the same.
I also loved The Postmortal by Drew Magary, and the Raw Shark Texts by Steve Hall.
On a completely different note, I also enjoy Marian Keyes. She tackles serious issues (depression, addiction, domestic violence) with humour.
