I’m a fairly normal 36 year old guy dude but I feel like I can’t find anything to read lately. I typically read 50-60 books a year. But In the last year I read 20ish books. I started and didn’t finish close to 30 though. I have a second kid on the way and would like to read something I can connect with. But any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! I read everything and anything, in the last year I enjoyed:
Ohio (reread)by Markley,
Rabbit Run (reread) by Updike (the others were kinda blah),
Dead wake by Larson,
Wheel of Time (third reread) by Jordan,
Trust by Diaz,
Napoleon by Roberts,
Say Nothing (reread) by Keefe,
Passage of Power (reread) by Caro, and
Klara and the sunshine by Ishiguro
I didn’t finish:
The family by Puzo,
Humboldt’s gift by Bellow,
Frantumaglia,
The city we become by Jemsin,
Comandate by Carrol, and
Shrines of Gaiety by Atkins
