She likes fantasy books and is 14. I need a birthday gift for her, but don’t read fantasy so could use some suggestions. All the books I read are horror, psychological thriller, or murder mystery type books, which she’s not into at all, so I’m completely lost on what to get her. Thanks in advance!

If she hasn’t read it yet, the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer! The first book is Cinder. It’s futuristic sci-fi fantasy based on fairytales 🙂
Spellfire by Greenwood, if you can find it. I read it at that age, it is a fantasy about a young woman, and she probably doesn’t already have it.
howls moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. it might be a little bit young for her, but there is the Donne John poem and the love interest.
