I really love beauty and the beast and I know there’s a tone of books based on this story but most of them focus on the spice aspect rather than the slowburn…I read a court of throne and roses but It’s just not my thing and I wonder if there are any more ya recs that I could give a try?? Mostly fantasy/historical, that focus on the relationship between the two mc and the tension/chemistry but without smut. (Also that has interesting characters with development and internal conflicts). I really like when he is grumpy/antagonistic with the fl but then has a soft hidden side. Also pls recommend a fl who isn’t blantanly stupid, I like my girls with a personality.
