NO SPOILERS for me please (but I do comment on some stuff hence the spoiler tag). So, I was enjoying it when he was going through bad stuff and you feel bad for him and all. Now he’s grown and he’s traveling with Steerforth where Pegotty lives.
Honestly, it’s a very weird book, idk how to explain it. Like, a lady cries cause she wish she was more grateful to her husband, which is kinda specific. Copperfield feels young and there’s a guy that makes him feel worse about that. Lots of sentimentalism without much plot. Also, Micawber walks out of nowhere into Uriah’s house when Copperfield is there?? Not sure I’m liking it anymore. Does it get better? There’s still a good chunk to be read (half the book), and that could be good (if there’s some plot) or really bad lol.
