I recently finished Viktor Frankl’s book, Man’s Search for Meaning and it was clearly not an easy read, but gave a huge number of lessons. The best lesson I learnt was: We cannot control everything, but we can control how we feel about it. Even bad situation, can still find good. Like, in camp, he used to see sunrise and think, “Beautiful!” Or even the jokes he made with friends, in extreme hunger and cold.
Although there are many quotes that I loved in this book, but this one is something that I want to remind myself everyday to stay composed and calm,
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances.”

How was your experience reading this book?
