I’m a big fan of the films sense and sensibility, pride and prejudice, little women, room with a view etc but I often have trouble connecting to the text when I read writing from this era because of how differently its composed. I’m wondering of any books about these historical periods written today or within the last 50 years. I’m a fan of some historical accuracy so I’m not looking for something like Bridgerton. All sorts of genres interest me and I’m looking for things that take place within the 1800s. However if there are any books that match this description that take place outside of that time frame I’m open to any recommendations! (No ken follet too please I like his stuff but I’ve read it)
