Hi, I just got done reading Flowers for Algernon. What an amazing book. I was a little confused by some parts though.
1. >!What is the “magic powder” that Charlie has at the end? He found it in some books and thought it would make him smart?!<
2. >!What happens to Charlie at the end? Does he commit suicide (I’m assuming that’s what happened to Algernon)? Does he end up in a group home? I’m pretty confused.!<

I thought that it drug out a bit in the middle, I put it down for a few months before picking it back up again. I have a super weird reading pattern though and struggle to pay attention if I’m not invested 100% of the time. Incredibly good read overall. Almost made me cry, which books normally don’t do. Definitely worth the read. Overall great plot, incredible writing, liked it a lot! (:
