Hello everyone, I would like to read a book in English and not in my native language to improve my English. But I don’t know which book to choose, also because I would like that the English it is written in is not difficult, it is my first attempt. Currently there are the following books that I am interested in:
\- Invitation to a Beheading by Nabokov
\- Parfume by Suskind
\- On the Will in Nature by Schopenhauer
I mainly ask anyone who knows the mentioned authors whether they recognize their texts are difficult to read in English for a non-native speaker or not. If you have books in mind that you think I might like, please feel free to suggest them to me. Thank you.
