I fully admit it might be hard to find an author quite in the niche of David Liss’s rather unusual genre- he writes historical fictional novels that are packed with both lots of humor and lots of thrills/suspense, and they’re almost all based on economic history (such as The Coffee Trader). Are there any other authors that have written in a even slightly similar genre? I’d even be happy to get recs of historical fiction that contains a lot of humor, since even that alone seems hard to find.
