Good evening/ day/ morning/ whatever time of day it happens to be when you read this!
To sum up quickly. I’m looking for some (audio) book recommendations. I very much enjoy fancy and sci-fi and equal measures, small bit more of a lean towards fantasy.
Mostly looking for stories /series that are well thought out. I think that’s the best way to put? Good characters, good growth, well established lore and systems etc. Don’t particularly enjoy ones that push a romantic subplot. There are exceptions to this depending on how well it’s handled or if it’s male/male.
I’ve recently got audible so I could get back into reading, I’ve been reading fanfiction and such for way too long and I need some actual books lol
A few of my old staples were the inheritance cycle, Percy Jackson, Kane Chronicles, Ender’s game. On the sci-fi side of things, it’s more video game related, halo, Mass effect, Star Wars, so on and so forth
