Me and my dad both read a lot but tend to gravitate to different genres so I’m really lost on what to get him. To my knowledge, he enjoys adult fantasy. He’s read most of Brandon Sanderson’s work, lots of Neil Gaiman, I think he just finished the Sandman Comics which he enjoyed and he also liked Wheel of Time. I want to get him a standalone (he won’t read a book unless the series is complete) that came out very recently to make sure he hasn’t already read it, in the vein of this sort of book. Since I read completely different authors, I’m not sure what the vibe is here.
Are there any adult fantasy standalones that came out recently that you would recommend? I think Sci-fi would work as well since he also likes Dune and some of Isaac Asimov’s work.
