Can you recommend me books like “A little life”? They should contain dark psychological themes, move me emotionally in a negative way and possibly have a negative ending.
I’ve never read “A Little Life” but I’ve heard people refer to it as trauma porn.
I once started a book called “My Absolute Darling” and quickly stopped reading it because it seemed to be, well, like that. So that might be a similar one.

this shit is just dark, grim, tragic, haunting and incredibly fucked.

_Almanac of the Dead_ by Leslie Marmon Silko
Very few—if any— characters in this novel have any redeeming qualities. The violence is cruel and sordid, there are scenes void of even a glimmer of humanity. It’s an indictment, Silko was clearly ruthless with her novel. But, it also avoids grouping people into a good/bad binary.
