So at the end we learn that King Edward II went into hiding and only Sir Thomas Langley held the secret and went to live in the monastery. My question is do we know where King Edward went? Someone told me that Thomas was in fact King Edward, but that doesn’t makes sense to me because in the book Thomas was around sixty when he died and when Merthin finds the letter he proposed that the King if still alive would be about seventy, so they can’t be the same person unless ten years passed between Thomas’ death and Merthin learning the secret and I just didn’t pick up on the time passage
