I like to paint based on the images my brain conjures whilst reading, one way of doing this is by finding books that focus equally on the environment a character is in (bonus points if the characters are actually engaging and interesting).
On that note, any books similar to Clockwork Girl? I found that book to have amazingly visual descriptions of the places the character would walk by, and that’s only from the small sample I read (not gone through the whole book so please no spoilers)!
Would love to find me a book that’s very descriptive of its environments and characters surroundings!
