I want to give my baby niece a book for Christmas that has beautiful illustrations, that she will like to look at in the next few months, but also an interesting and positive story she will grow to love when she is old enough to care about both. Most importantly, books with a protagonist who looks like her. Please share some of your suggestions!
(I’m an artist so I’m a sucker for beautiful illustrations!)
She already has Ada Twist but this is a book that I think is more story driven that she won’t get into until she’s older. She already loves Goodnight Moon & The Snowy Day- so those are a good starting point.
