My mother loves the Sparks and Bainbridge series by Alison Montclair. She likes the main characters and their relationship (and the mysteries, of course). The characters are both complicated intelligent women and have a lovely friendship, the books are pretty light/cozy. She’s read all of the books in the series and wants more. Any recs for similar book series? Doesn’t have to be historical.
