I need some recommendations for my great-grandmothers Christmas present. She loves shows like Bones, Rizzoli and Isles, Blue Bloods, ect. Preferably no books with romantic subplots, that’s her main complaint about the various shows she watches. That they start focusing too much on romance/characters personal lives and not enough about the solving cases part.
Bonus points if the main is female but its not necessary. Also it needs to not be too complicated or have too many twists. She’s getting older and if it’s too complicated it’ll confuse her. So no sci-fi or magic elements please.
