Daughter is a very naive third grader who can read at a high school level, but doesn’t like romance (she thinks the “kissing stuff” and what leads up to it is “boring”) and I am trying to limit the violence in what she reads and watches.
Someone suggested Terry Pratchett, but I have not read much of his work and don’t know what would be the best book to start for her. I have not read more than one or two, and they were not his best work.
Any other suggestions for high school difficulty without too much romance or violence would also be greatly appreciated.
